Terms of service

Pilot notice. LeaseReady is in an early access pilot. Terms may evolve as the product develops.

1. What LeaseReady is

LeaseReady is a renter-side rental operations tool. We help you organize your application packet, track listings you find on third-party platforms (such as StreetEasy), and draft and send broker outreach on your behalf — with your explicit approval for every message before it sends.

We are a software service and concierge tool for renters. That is all.

2. What LeaseReady is not

  • Not a broker. LeaseReady is not a licensed real estate broker or salesperson. We do not represent landlords or property owners, and we do not list apartments for rent.
  • Not a listing marketplace. We do not source, verify, or guarantee the accuracy or availability of any apartment listing. Listings enter your dashboard when you import them yourself using the LeaseReady Chrome extension from platforms like StreetEasy. We treat all listing availability as unverified until confirmed directly with the broker or landlord.
  • Not a guarantor of approval. Using LeaseReady does not guarantee that you will be approved for any apartment. Approval decisions rest entirely with the landlord or management company. We help you put your best application forward — we do not influence the outcome.
  • Not a party to your lease. We have no role in any lease agreement between you and a landlord.
  • No fee on your rent. LeaseReady charges flat service fees for specific features (packet review, outreach sprint). We never take a percentage of your rent or security deposit and we never collect a broker fee.

3. Broker outreach and the approval requirement

LeaseReady can prepare outreach messages to brokers on your behalf. The following rules apply without exception:

  • No message is sent until you review and explicitly approve it in the LeaseReady interface.
  • You can edit any draft before approving.
  • You can reject any draft. Rejection does not send anything.
  • You can pause all outreach at any time using the pause toggle in your dashboard.

By approving and sending an outreach message, you represent that the content is accurate and that you are the renter (or authorized to act on their behalf). You are responsible for the content you approve.

4. Pilot / beta nature of the service

LeaseReady is in active development. Features may change, be removed, or be temporarily unavailable. During the pilot phase:

  • Some features (such as Gmail outreach sending) may require a separate approval process to activate on your account.
  • Pricing may change for new signups. Existing renter terms for already-purchased services will be honored.
  • We may contact you for feedback as part of the pilot program.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload documents you do not own or are not authorized to share.
  • Approve outreach messages that contain false or misleading information about your application or identity.
  • Use the service on behalf of someone else without their knowledge and consent.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform.
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Fees and payment

Free onboarding — building your profile, uploading documents, importing listings, and viewing your readiness score — is and will remain free with no credit card required. Paid services (packet review, outreach sprint) are flat fees disclosed clearly before you pay. We do not charge based on rent amount, number of messages sent, or outcome.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LeaseReady and Truvo are not liable for:

  • Your failure to secure any apartment.
  • Inaccurate or unavailable listing information on third-party platforms.
  • Broker or landlord decisions, delays, or behavior.
  • Loss of data caused by factors outside our reasonable control.
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

In any case, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid to LeaseReady in the 90 days preceding the claim.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information, including your documents and Gmail access. By using LeaseReady, you agree to the Privacy Policy.

9. Account termination

You can stop using LeaseReady and request account deletion at any time by emailing contact@gettruvo.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We will update this page if the terms change and note a new "last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify active users by email with reasonable advance notice.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
